Trinket. Walther League. Aluminum Washer, 1956
(JUL 2021 #16 M6) This is a small plastic bag (83mm x 70mm) containing a fake plumbing washer. The bag is stapled closed with an attached piece of heavy paper in the shape of Iowa. The paper has the following text in red: "You MAY TAG Iowa | for the convention | in 1956". The washer bears the text: "Another Maytag Aluminum Washer". This was probably made as a promotional giveaway to be handed out at the 1955 convention.
